Medical scientist and French humanist. He is interested in vascular surgery. He invents and establishes in his surgical skills a method of triangular suture, which he exposes in his books. It makes tissue culture in vitro possible through the discovery of the technique that allows the transplantation of vessels and organs. In 1912, he received the Nobel prize for medicine and physiology.
